A few months ago, Mollie Helf, DMD acquired the dental practices of Dr. Neale Rhea of Faith Dental, PC and Dr. Charles Carter of Charles Carter, DMD, PC. She merged the two offices into a practice called The Dental Boutique. Keep reading to learn more about The Dental Boutique and Dr. Mollie Helf.

Dr. Helf is from Homewood, AL. She married her next door neighbor, John Helf, and the couple has been married nearly 7 years. While they don’t have any kiddos of their own, they do have three adorable poodle mixes: Sam, Charlie, and Buddy (the Helf). All of the doggos are rescues and are living their best life. The Helfs currently live in Vestavia Hills and enjoy yard work and neighborhood strolls in the evenings with their pack of dogs.

The couple also enjoys traveling and recently found themselves in Paris, France for a college friend’s wedding. This was their first international travel as a couple and lots of fun (and stressful) memories were made. They have had many more domestic adventures, and it is their goal to visit all of the National Parks.

As far as dentistry goes, Dr. Helf’s favorite part is the relationship she’s able to build with each patient. In her own words, “It’s more than just a six month cleaning appointment, it’s our biannual date!” She wants to know more than how your teeth are doing; she wants to know about how you are doing, how your kids are doing, and how your dog is doing 😉

But seriously, she enjoys dentistry because it gives her the ability to meet people, love people, and use the gift the Lord has given her to help people. She enjoys all aspects of dentistry including regular every day fillings and crowns/bridges but also more advanced techniques like implant over-dentures and removable prostheses (partials dentures/complete dentures).
